    First drive of 2016

You forget how fun these cars are after surviving a long winter. I took her for a spin, including through my hospitals parking garage to see how many car alarms I could set off as I drove past. I managed six, but my record is nine, and I am hoping for twelve later this season. It's good to have goals.

Glad to see you didn't sell it. I know there was a time you were considering letting it go...

Man, I was close. The company I started was struggling, but shortly after posting the thread we scored some decent contracts. Plus my wife showing her copious wisdom expressed the life time of regret that would shortly follow. I would love a 993 Turbo though.....

Nice dodge and congratulations on the prosperous new company. I hope 2016 treats you well.

As for the wife's advice, well, that's why they're called "the better half." That's also why they're called "the ball and chain."

Also glad you kept her. I can't imagine though having to wait all winter to drive my car! That must really suck.

I always find it difficult to get my hotrod out of the garage, even when the weather is nice. There always seems to be a more important reason to drive the Cayenne or the Boxster - gotta haul something, it's hot and they have A/C, gotta move the Boxster because it's street cleaning day, etc.

Perhaps as the driving season starts to open up I'll be able to better convince myself that a Zork tube isn't too obnoxious for the neighbors at 6:30am on a Saturday.

This is definitely a challenge. Especially with humidity in Georgia. I also think it has something to do with getting older, but don't really want to buy into that thought as I am too young to think of it.
