The car was advertised locally and was about 31/2 hours away though I'd have a look and had no intention of buying but the disease gets worse every car you look at.
The car came from Switzerland in April of 1988 imported by Randy Meyers probably the same Randy that owns Whaletail in Ontario.
The car was purchased in September 88 by the a Mr Bowman who sold it to the the guy I bought it from in November 1993, he only drove it for a few years and was parked 20 years.
The car was driven about 30,000km since 1988. The motor was rebuilt at 65000 km odometer reads 87000km now.
MFI is missing, webbers now bought when the engine was rebuilt.
Owner said he drained the carbs and stabilized the fuel so hopefully not to gummed up.
I don't really need another car but an early S is hard to pass up.
Filled the cyinders with Murphy oil today and changed the oil, next is get rid of the old fuel and clean the tank and lines. new filters, clean the distributor cap and get it lubricated.

Here are some additional pictures will order the COA this week but another interested buyer apparently contacted Porsche and confirmed matching numbers.
The engine number matches the original invoice from the engine rebuild so probably the correct motor, transmission is correct number 911/01.
