Do You Need More Fiber in Your Diet?

Want to reduce your CO2 emissions? Well, Lighten Up

The new ruf SCR 4.2 is based on the 964 but has a chassis that’s been lengthened seven millimeters. At just 2,646 pounds, the car is extremely light, largely due to a carbon fiber body shell that weighs only 24 pounds. That, and carbon fiber in the hood, fenders, door panels, and engine lid.

Under the hood, the 4.2-liter flat-six produces 525 horsepower that hits the wheels with a 6-speed manual. RUF estimates it will have a top speed around 200 mph. But it basically just looks like a regular old-school Porsche. The cost of secret domination? $527,664.

Apparently they made the parts shown non-structural - not sure what keeps the powertrain & running gear together - could be a tube frame (?)
