Which way is up? Left? Right? is the wider portion on the top? is the other wider portion on the right? It looks directional , but I dont have a radio to try to see what is correct....

I'm redoing the basketweave and need to get it to match up with the adjacent.

    thanks!

How about this approach: wait til you get the radio before you do the basket weave material so you are sure it will work for you. Once you have the radio it will be obvious.

If only it were that easy.... I ordered the radio from EBAY seller in Europe... well, after month and half, still no radio. I opened a case on EBAY... seller says he wont refund my money until he gets the radio back...not sure how its my fault. Anyway, so no idea if and when I'll get it and hesitant to buy another one until I get refunded... and hopefully will.... Sooo... my dash project was waiting for this.

Anyway here's how I ended up configuring it... wider on top and on right side next to the glove box door. Wider on top because looking at little pictures of other peoples it looks like there is more space on top and also because the dash knobs are above it so the radio should sit lower to give more clearance.... Next, wider on the glove box side since it ends up centering the radio in the open space. Hopefully this works out correctly...

For now, I havent cut out the holes in the vinyl for the radio so it looks like a radio delete plate... kinda cool....

You oriented it correctly. Good luck sorting out your radio.

How was payment made for the radio? How was radio shipped? Any tracking info, seller needs proof of delivery.

It was PayPal thru EBAY... figured that was the safest way! Tracking stopped weeks ago so the item could have been lost. Says he wont give my money back unless he gets the radio back... I think EBAY will find in my favor...
I passed up a LOT of radios for decent prices waiting on this... lots of people 'asking' outrageous prices... a lot different from what the actual 'sold' values are shown....

Thanks for confirmation on the alignment!
