My last 64/65/early 66 911 left door frame

This is it, there ain't no more. I saved the best for last, though. This one is pretty nice. Would be awesome on a "survivor" but would not be too bad on a full concourse car, either. $1000.00 plus shipping and fees.

    Regards

    Jim

    What, no takers?
    Why am I not surprised?
When I removed that window frame from a 65 911 (or maybe it was a 912) a top notch 65/66 911 could be bought for $10,000.00 to $15,000.00.
Now they sell for $150,000.00 minimum. At the very least, they have appreciated 10 times their value in just a few years. So I have the unmitigated gall to double the price of this ridiculously rare window frame in the same time period and it comes across, in my mind, as being grossly overpriced.
Let's make the thing $750.00 Shipping and fees additional.

    Regards

    Jim

    Jim,

If it were an early 64, 2 screw version I wouldn't have even quibbled about the original asking price...

which would have been a first for me.

Your price is very fair for someone who needs one.

2 screws? I don't think I have ever seen one of those or, maybe, I just wasn't paying attention. You got a picture?
Stupid me, I assumed that 2 screw frames were 68 and later.

    Ciao

Off the cuff, but can't you just "eliminate" one of the 3 screws thereby changing it to a 2 screw and otherwise they are identical?

    Thanks Frank

Those must be easy to find. No pun intended.

FWIW: I have an extra pair of 64.5-66 frames like Jim's and there's no WAY I would sell for a paltry $750 each.
