Are 914 Hood Release Mechanisms the Same as 911 SWB?

I need to seek the knowledge of the oracles with regard to the front hood release mechanism...

Is there a difference between the hood release handles/locks for 911SWB and 914?

Are the 914 hood release keys the same as 911 keys?

(I was not smart enough to remove the front hood release in order to have it keyed with the door locks and ignition, so I need to figure out the best alternative.)

    Thanks, as always, friends!!

Sorry Mike. They aren't even close.

    Regards

    Jim
PS: The Targa hood lock is not keyed the same as the doors.

    Regards

    Jim
