Were the 912's built on the same production line ? I have a 912 built the day after on the 23rd of July. My car is needing restoration but complete
, Bali Blue with Pepita inserts.

I'll have it at the Deluxe customs swap meet in Phoenix on April 1st to sell. 350564 Kardex.jpg

What a very nice 912 you do have, and yes, your 350*** shows it had been built in Stuttgart, same workshop, same paintshop…

there is this „classic picture“ of the assembly line in Stuttgart with some
workers in front of the 912 s, engines coming from the roof….

Great so mine should have some of the early parts that have been mentioned on some of the build threads of 911's that I've seen. I understand through reading some threads that 356 parts were used in some applications .

Another interesting item is the car this thread is about (#302003) and the Dolphin Grey 912 (#350442) in another thread on this site were both built on the same day 7/22/65 with mine being built the day after. I believe mine was one of the last 65's built before the switch to 66 model year changes took place. From what I've read production stopped on the 27th of July.

My car needs to go to someone who will give the restoration it deserves, I'm not a detail oriented perfectionist (Complement intended) and the car will have some value if it's done right, plus it's a great color combination.
