Another question about used car buying in Germany …

Hi Folks - is there any valuation tool for used car values in Germany, like Kelly Blue Book, Edmonds, NADA, etc here in the US? Asking for my 24yo daughter living in Weiden. Thanks in advance for any insight.

‘67 911S Canary/Lemon yellow, sunroof coupe produced w/100L tank. Until determined otherwise, 306943S appears to be 1 of 1, and among the earliest 911’s with a 100L tank. The 911’s initial participation in a competitive event, the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, was fitted with a 100L tank (#300055). Seeking additional info on earliest 100L tank fitments to 911’s.

in austria we have the eurotax list, every dealer uses this list .there is a buy and a sell list. if i remember correcctly in germany it is the schwacke-liste.

my advise for your doughter is to become a member of the ADAC(AAA) they offer cheap PPI-( of course the also use the schwacke-liste to determine the current value)-and they have no horses in the race.

buying cars from a dealer in germany is a rather save thing..they have to give warranty when they sell to private customers.
if we are talking about a 1500€ car ---because of the warranty thing -those car are usually exported to former east block countries or africa

Franz his advice on Adac is a good one.

As for lists / prices. Due to a shortage on second hand cars which btw will become worse now w the war in Ukraine and supply lines for VW, Mini, etc disturbed prices for recent used cars will be high. I think you can help her w a feeling for a ball park price by checking ads online on sites like mobile.de for the kind of car model year etc
