    Restoring a glove box?

I am getting near the point of re-installing my glove box, and it looks like a 48-year-old glove box. So, again, I consult the community for its collective wisdom...

Are there suggestions as to how it might be restored?

    What is considered appropriate?

    Thank you, as always.

done flocking back in 2001 with products from select products and it worked fine. Select Products was only for dealers that days, but the kit locked like:

It was so easy to DIY. Just adhesiv and than use this tube/air pump to flock it. Very easy and superb finish. All smooth of course.

other half of the question -- was the outside of the glove box painted? or covered with something else?

(mine looks like a rubberized coat, but i can't be sure.)

(i have ordered the flock-it kit. thanks to RSTarga and dirk07.)
