a detail that I had not noticed until now. The rear spoiler never received a layer of "white". As I observe I see what I believe are 3 layers of factory
    Black (from original part)
White (background used by the factory)
    Yellow (117?)
    Then
    Black.
So when the car was painted white did it have the front and rear bumpers painted black instead of white but in the black cape that I see under the doors?
I think that the black color can also be earlier than the white color. I do not know.

*the yellow present in this piece belongs to the original 117?

In relation to the alleged roll bar, these welds are standard in the 72? SaldsName: 107497692_210685493485114_6885269690129677312_n.jpg

Your translation is fantastic..... the welds you are referring to are for the anchoring of the jack spur... if you look closely at their location , you will see they correspond with above and below the jack reciever...

I noticed what you say when taking these photos and putting your hand underneath but it did not occur to me to think that the welding of that part would be seen from the inside ... Again thank you very much!

closer to finish the floors ... finish "relative" are deformed but po least will protect them from rust. Do you recommend giving it a "hammer" and trying to put it a little straight or better to leave it for when it goes towards the stretched chassis? To me, honestly, I do not care, for me it is the history of the car and as I said at the beginning, if the car was fine as it was, it did not touch it but investigating the wheels and the accident we know with great certainty that the car is missing a good hours of ironing workshop!

porsche offers me to stretch the car on a "bench" Carleo brand. I don't think I've ever heard it. Does anyone have any reference to it? I thought they would work with Celette!

A bench is a bench is a bench.
As long as it is indeed a jig with reference points and pulling device, and that the people manning it know what they do,you are good to go.

Okay, I am waiting for to send me a measurement budget and in this case stretched. Has anyone done these jobs in al porsche? Any guide price? Or do I prepare my heart for a heart attack when I see the budget?

  8. #508
Hello again, after having a conversation, I am told that the workshop does not have approval for the jobs that are asked for a budget (upload, measure and in that case rectify), they refer me to the porsche.es page where they cite there a series of workshops that are responsible for restoring classic porsche cars.
    1. On the porsche.es page only their official workshops appear. I do not understand what they mean by directing me to the porsche.es page when I am having a conversation with porsche tenerife.
They refer me to the workshop machinery to do those jobs and then they tell me that they don't have the approval to do it? What should I do? Find me a workshop outside the porsche by reference of the same porsche or call porsche madrid to see what happens to those workshops they name?

The last people I would want repairing my oil-cooled 911 is Porsche themselves.
Find a body shop that is willing to work with you, and has knowledge of jigs. If not on your island, then be prepared to bring the shell where the knowledge is. No way around that.

I'll do more research here on the island, keep posted!
