    1967-68 Targa top frame

First generation targa roof. A complete frame. No broken off bits.

Obviously in need of a total restoration. A few bits are missing to make up a complete roof: aluminium panels, one latch, two handles, and some hardware bits.

But other than that it is fairly intact.

    Price: $1000

Bump! DoesnŽt anyone need a correct early roof?

I have found the two smaller aluminium panels for the roof (center section still missing), and I will include them in the sale.

You're too optimistic about the price.

Ok. If anyone is interested, let me know, and IŽm sure we will find a way.

These are my reasons for the price:

German ebay prices suggest to me, that later frame parts are about €170 each, and the side parts are about €400 each. Since the frame consists of 4 frame arms and two side parts, this alone adds up to €1480 or about $1750. Locks are about €200 in addition. And this roof is much rarer, since it was only produced from 1967 to mid-68.

I can see that complete later targa roofs are listed for €3-4000. Here are a few:

Well then, either no one wants your top, or they've just not logged on in the previous month, or, as I might have mentioned, your asking price may be a little steep. However, good luck with the sale.

    Yes, I am home. :-)

I sent you a pm, but maybe you did not receive it.

IŽll sell it for $1000. Including the two smaller aluminium panels. Would that be of interest to you?
