    Funny you should mention that, as I was in the market for a Tiger and came across this car. I much prefer the body style of the TR6 to the Alpine/Tiger, plus it's got IRS whereas the Tiger has leaf springs. Oh yeah, then there's the price.....

    Looks like a very tidy build, well done. If it has not been already done make sure to reinforce the differential mounts. The TR6 will take the V8 torque, but the mounts won't.

    I bet she is a ton of fun.

    I have owned a TR6 for many years...fun little cars. A small block Ford with aluminum heads, intake, and water pump is supposed to actually weigh less than the stock Triumph inline 6. As mentioned above, I hope some thought was given to reinforcing the rear end including (ESPECIALLY including) the hubs. They are a known failure-point on these cars. I had one fail. At speed it can lead to total loss of control. Look at Richard Good's site, https://www.goodparts.com, for some HD solutions.

    The individual who built this car (Chris Trace) did it right. Here are the specs:

    Drivetrain:

    - Rebuilt 302 cu. in
    - High compression aluminum racing pistons
    - Stainless steel valves
    - Sanderson headers
    - Holley 4 bbl carb -600 cfm
    - "Worldclass rebuilt T5 Transmission
    - CenterForce dual friction clutch
    - Nissan R200 Diff 3.54:1 installed with Richard Good Parts Kit
    - Richard Good Parts CV Joint Axle Assemblies

    Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:


    - Uprated Springs
    - SPAX adjustable shocks up front
    - Rear coil over conversion and KYB shocks
    - Addco front and rear sway bars
    - Polyurathane bushings throughout the car
    - Toyota 4 pot caliper up front
    - Oversized rear brake cylinder
    - Stainless steel brake lines
    - Uprated front spindles
    - Panasport wheels
    - Falken ZE912 P215/65-R15

    Frame/Body:

    - Custom Ratco frame (2-3 times stiffer then original)
    - Body stripped to bare metal - 3 coats Dupont Prima Chroma paint
    - Newer top in excellent condition with clear windows

    Interior:

    - Miata seats (with speakers in headrests)
    - Alpine stereo/speakers with Kicker Amp
    - Red Sequoia dash and matching console
    - Pushbutton start, electric retractable antenna
    - Aftermarket cruise control
