Thread: Which replacement rear axle CV ?

Which replacement rear axle CV ?

Replacing complete rear axle shaft as opposed to purchase of all sub components and reassembly.
I have reviewed several new offerings for complete rear axle shaft assembly.
They vary from $185 to $491 for Porsche .
I read a review of the $200 assembly and found some unfaltering comments on fit and quality.
Would like some input as there must be a reason for the large variance in price.
    Thanks for assistance

I am in this project process now and was advised to spec only GKN/Loebro for quality.

See the posted review on the bird for the GKN/Loebro assembly.
Also understand that a 68 maybe different than a 73
    Let's see some other comments
    Thanks

What year Škoda, Zhiguli, Tatra, Borgward or NSU is this for? The CV joints changed many times over the years and the answers are different depending on your precise application.
