911 '65 Hella sealed beams mixed combination

    Hello,

Does anybody maybe can help me with this:

Like you all know the '65 911s had hella sealed beams because of the DOT.
In Europe they had the Bosch assymetrical lights.
In my opinion these sealed beams may give the car a little bit of strange look.
I suppose this is mainly because of the full translucent hella lenses.
I am wondering what I would give if your keep the hella sealed beams but with a hella or bosch assymetrical lenses.
Does anybody have pictures or this? Experiences?
Would give the car in my opinion a nicer view.
This would be also a good half half solution in place of putting the bosch eurolights in it.

    Thanks

I have tried them. It looks better but the light is so diffused that they don't light up much.

    Harvey,

Do you may be have pictures of your car or lights when you did this?
    Really so diffused ligth?
So better of just installing the bosch eurolights?
It is really remarcable that so maney us 65 porsches installs these eurolight while all the rest of the car is 100% original.
    Maybe a reason?
