FS: Stubby - Bahama Yellow 1967 911 Rallye

Stubby is one of the best known 911's within this Early 911S membership circle. Meticulously detailed build of a privateer rallye based on the 1968 Porsche AG publication "Information Regarding Porsche Vehicles Used for Sports Purposes".
I purchased Stubby from John Audette in 2010, and have cared for it carefully since purchase. The building where it has been housed has been placed on the market, and it is time to cull the stable in anticipation of losing garage space. It has been driven very little during my period of ownership and needs to be appreciated in a new home.
Matching numbers engine (built out to 2.7 RS spec, dyno'd at 220+ HP). 5 speed transmission installed; original matching numbers 4 speed included with sale. Recaro NOS rallye driver and navigator seats, additional pair seats, and an additional hood (without Cibies mounted). NOS 7x15 R's on rear, 6x15 Fuchs on front. Two full binders of build documentation complete with receipts.
1st in Class, Carmel By The Sea Concours on the Avenue, 2010
    1st in Class, Zone 1 Rally & Concours, 2011
2nd (raw) in Class, Full, 2011 PCA Parade, Savannah (lost to Ed Mayo's 911S on mileage credit)
1st, Peoples Choice, Zone 1 Rally & Concours, 2013, the last time it was shown.
Additions made: proper T-gear for the Halda Twinmaster, near full set of X & Z calibration wheels, Webasto gas heater, and scarce as hen's teeth original copy of the Sports Purposes build document.
Numerous references and photo's of Stubby on this site...VIN 306607.
This is a true, authentic rallye car built as it would have been in 1968, lacking only "provenance". It's not an "S", granted, but many who know it would say it is better. Given this market, I believe $175,000 is a reasonable asking price for this unique 911...as they say, find another. I know membership here will judge the equity and value of this offering.
Pictures and additional information to follow. Thank you all!

Would someone buy this and return it to the West Coast? I'd love to see 'ol Stubbs again. GLWS Hank. Thanks for taking care of her.

Thanks all for the kind words. She is a wonderful 911, stunning to look at, very quick, and with a great throaty 'voice'. And John, a West Coast home could well be in her future.

    John:
I have great interest in your car. Please give me a phone number to talk direct. I have a strong collection of Porsches on the west coast and think I would like to add your car.
    Thanks,
    Tom

In 1967 there was only 911 or 911S.

John was kind enough to suggest I include link to his site covering in much greater detail the effort and attention to detail that went into Stubby's build.
