Thread: Phishing in the forums

    Phishing in the forums

    Phishing in the forums.

Just a heads up that there are people phishing in the forums. I've received two PM's this week, from users yamaharzenthusiast and 911Olive, each containing a link to phishing sites that mimics this one.

    Be careful out there.

Also received a PM from the yamaha guy. Wants you to go to a link and login to view pictures of an item you are interested in. What's interesting is that his status in the PM indicates that he is banned. Apparently banned profiles can still PM members.

My guess is he was banned after he sent you the PM.

    Scam alert

911Olive pm me that he has the knee pads I'm looking for and gives me a link to our forum but it says I need to log in even though I'm already logged in. Zero posts and I'm sure whatever he thinks he's showing me they're probably from someone else FS thread in the past. WTF is going on lately.

We appear to be under a bit of an attack currently. As stated above, watch what you click or respond with to. If you have any questions, let us know.

That may have been sufficient. We'll have to watch. PM any other details you think are important.
