72 power window motors, in door harnesses and switches.

these came out of a door for a a 72 targa. The motors and switches all work. I have in door harnesses only. The passenger side cable cover has a crack.

the pet numbers for 72 and 73 motors are different. 73 on all have the same number. The same is true for the switches. These came out of pretty unmolested doors and if a switch broke they would have had to replace all 3 which seems unlikely. It seems there was a change in power windows between my72 ND MY 73. For sure I am no expert and would welcome other input
    Thanks, Al

    Those are all aftermarket parts.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Unmolested doors?
Perhaps but someone was still playing Mr. Potato Head.

    Those are not Porsche motors.

Heading implies 72 porsche which is not correct that is what's wrong with that.

Interesting, all of the other door parts seem to be original, arm rests, doortop handles etc except for later year door pockets and the obligatory speaker hole in the door card. Perhaps dealer installed? At any rate If anyone wants them I am open to offers otherwise I will trash them. Thanks for the input. This board is a great resource.

Looks like a common aftermarket kit by Autoloc to me. I used to install them on a lot of cars back in my car stereo and accessories past life.
Porsche taste on a Volkswagen budget...

I used to produce the Automotion catalog and we had something like that back in the 80s. They use the window crank shaft, so you have to add something to the door to cover that area. It was a swell solution when these were $4K cars... thinking the Early S environment is not going to produce a buyer. You might try eBay. They are not Porsche-specific so you have a better chance promoting them as a generic power window conversion.
