Rear rotors and parking brake adjustment

I need to adjust my parking brake. I can't get enough adjustment with just the cable nuts. I know later cars have slots in the top hat of the rear rotors so you can access the adjuster gear without removing the rotor. The rear rotors on my '72 do not have the slots. Are they supposed to or do early cars require removing the rotors to adjust the parking brake gear? Obviously mine requires it with these rotors but I'm wondering if I can get replacement rotors with the adjuster access slots.

The cable length adjustments are only for equalizing the cable pulls. Brake adjustments are done thru a round hole in the rotor. It is NOT removed. You rotate rotor to line up hole with the brake adjuster.

Thanks! So the holes are supposed to be there. I guess I have some aftermarket replacement rotors without holes. How irritating.
