Paint Code on Paint tag for 1968 911

Would anyone know the actual paint code as it would appear on the paint plate for a car originally painted Sand Beige.
    I believe the 1968 paint # was 6807 and colour code 510

Yes, sand beige has code 6807 in 1968. I found these pics of the paint tags for 1968 models (from 912s though):

the actual code depends on which paint was used (Thomas has shown a Glasurit and Lesonal code above) and also if it was "normal' with a 68 prefix or (i think) high temperature baked with a 97 prefix, and to a certain extend who built it. I think i have only seen the 97 prefix with Lesonal paint but that is only from memory (and a few photos I have looked at today) so that may not be correct. Also it would appear (again from a sample) that the Karmann built cars often had the paint manufacturer suffix left off the number on the badge. I can email you a document with a dozen or more badges on it if you like - also there is an australian delivered sand beige car that i may be able to get a photo of the plate from..

Thanks Thomas, the car is actually a 912 so there are great.

Hi Hugh, Be good to get a shot of another tag to compare with those from Thomas.
It was originally a UK car and had been painted Red.
Existing tag is damaged and hard to read, but it may be easier when I get it off.

Is it possible that the same colour could come from two manufacturers as the first tag shows 6807 from G which I assume is Glasutit. I recall that for the RS, in most cases they showed only one manufacturer for each colour.
