    latch hardware finishes

I know this has been discussed to death but just to confirm that on a 67 911 front hood and rear engine cover latches are silver cad not gold cad as on later years. Yes? Including the bolts and washers use for mounting them?

    Sorry to disagree, but...

ALL the latch mechanism bits , bolts, and flat washer are clear (silver) zinc. The lock washer is black oxide.

The majority of the post springs are yellow zinc...but a few came through as clear zinc.
