    Headlight Wire Harness Help

Ok long story, but I need advice. The round female plug for my headlight wire harness that goes from the fender to the headlight just will not say in place. I have battled this issue for years. I usually just plug the white male socket and leave it in, but I recently had to do some RnR on the light circuit ( turned out to the be a bad relay ) and now I am reliving the pain of reseating this connection. So While I am in there, I want to do a better more perm fix. I am thinking of making a short harness, but I am not sure where to get the two ends. are these available. I really go not want to cut into the harness. Also are there other things I can do to get around this issue.

I really would love to find a source for those round connectors. thanks

If you're talking the bulkhead plugs they are available from Porsche with a 6" stub of wires. You solder and heat shrink onto your harness. Or find an old harness and salvage from there. I soften the female bulkhead plug with clear silicone, heat slightly with a hot air gun, and install. Making the rubber soft and pliable again might help the lip to seat on the sheet metal.
