    Why we do it

It makes no sense. We love cars. All over the world people take a look at a car, know it isn't worth fixing, know they will lose money if they sell it and decide to do it anyway.
This 65 Plymouth Barracuda sat in a warehouse for years, then was illegally removed and disappeared for another two years. A few weeks back the police called and said, "you can find the car at the corner of xxx and xxx streets in nearby town.
The seats were moldy, the floor pans need to be replaced and it has the least desirable 6 cylinder engine. A smarter guy would throw it on craigslist and get rid of it. instead, the floor pans will be cut out and replaced, the interior removed, all new carpets, seat and door upholstery, an engine tune up, new brakes, heater core, duct work cleaned out, etc, etc, etc.
Guaranteed to lose money but these old cars need to be saved.
Side note: The cash for clunkers program was as bad as any economic recovery program the intelligencia in D.C. has ever come up with. Millions of cars suitable for those wanting to learn and unable to spend 20 grand on a car were destroyed so we could buy the crap made by GM.

My Mom had a white 67, which I abused regularly on weekends. 4 speed on the floor, red interior.

    LT-1's ROCK!!!

Sort of like the original 289 Shelby Cobra. Better balanced car than a big block.

Marlboro Maroon. Couldn't market that color today!

    Nice Corvette!!!

Nice old Plymouth!!! What kind of car hauler is that?

I restored a 65 Coronet factory Hemi race car several years ago for a friend of mine. Worst part about it was straightening from the doors up sheet metal as it was very thin and does not have the strength we are use to today.

    Rare metal hood scoop

Not officially for sale, but I could get it and thought about it. I think I would rather have another P car though!
