    72 oil console

    72 oil console. It is not set up for a front oil cooler but I believe that it can be.

    You can pull the hex plug shown in the picture and the thermostat will work for the 911S circuit with remote cooler. You will need to get the proper adapter to connect to the thermostat. Chuck has them here, http://www.elephantracing.com/oilhan...911adapter.htm

    72s are the easiest year to add an external cooler to, thanks to this neat little part. Another reason that 72 is one of the best years ever made. I think you need to machine the thermostat opening slightly, been a few years since I've done that but it is easy.
