    George, I bought this one in California in 1982. I have two of them.
    A number of these were brought over in the 1950s, for the service departments of large Volkswagen dealers.

    Another one on the lower right, below, in this old Porsche factory photo at Werk II...

    The licence plates are from Bad Homburg “HG” and Frankfurt “F” so seems to be the parking of a Porsche dealer in the Rhein-Main area so either in Frankfurt or Bad Homburg

    the only one I recognise is Erich Brett - second on the left beige dustcoat - chief service manager/advisor (??) - pic in 1972 ??
