yes on post 17 its most likely the 1970 S in Standard version for German market.
Its not an ST but the 1970 standard equiped 911S, offered only in Germany/Europe. A few are sold, at least one survived, I think its in Monaco.
Its most likely the same press car seing in homologation papers and also postcard/press photos i have, as well as in Brian Longs book, a Tangerine colored car.

Haul, imo its not true.
No1, chassis 356.001 (mid-engine) was shown in June 1948 to Swiss Mr.von Senger, which bought the car among 4 others and road registred No1 in September 1948 in Switzerland with Zurich (ZH) plates. The car was several times modified, removal of bumpers, rear arches cut outs, installing a modified 356 engine grill on rear deck (still visible in the 1969 picture!!) and even applying red/blue decor flames.
356.001 was later sold several times, had heavy corrosion and was bought back by Richard von Frankenberg for the factory in 1958 (in exchange to a new Speedster to its then owner) and where it remains ever since.

I ll come back on this issue, as I have talked about the pic of #1 with a former Porsche "Meister" from Stuttgart. Major reason for talks had been the fabulous images of the trailer hook in this thread and the not existing papers of the "Anhängelast" at Porsche itself - different issue, but
he told me it was part of the appretance workmanship to "fabricate and renovate" old chassis forms, also of #1.
Hence he knew about these kinds of pics and stated so.
But I am sure your infos about #1 are historical correct. thank you for this.
