SWB Front BumperQuestion: Does the back of the front bumper have rock guard?

Another question for the SWB scholars out there ... I am currently re-assembling my front bumper, including those aggravating weights that were added as a stopgap substitute for engineering.

Didn't the front bumper have an inside coat of body-schutz/rock guard to protect it from flying stones, chipping and subsequently, rust? (I could swear that I removed that stuff when i stripped the car.)

Thanks for sharing your knowledge with those of us less fortunate.

    Hi Mike,

The inside of the front and rear bumpers are just painted with body color. They do not have any undercoating. The two front fenders are coated with undercoating, but not the bumpers.

    Best regards,

interesting. to me, it would make sense to treat the inside of the bumpers the same as the inside of the fenders ... but it's not my call.
