    FS: 1979 porsche 930 turbo - 7300 original miles

Everything original, books and records, one owner from new until 2014. Original window sticker and Certificate of Authenticity. Documented miles. This is an honest, original car that is truly investment grade. Drives and handles properly, shifts better than I have ever felt, engine starts and runs correctly.

    $275,000.00

Please contact Rodger@orbitracing.com with any questions

Many more pictures of the car on the Orbitracing.com website

    Beautiful car Rodger.

Just looking at it I can smell, feel, and hear it.
They definitely have their own personality.

    BUT the 4 speed...

    Ugh...

Good luck with finding a new home.

I recall sometime around 2003 I looked at the 79 turbo that eventually Jerry S. purchased - color was a deal breaker but it had 29k miles and was original to every receipt - could of had it for $27kish - that is a nice markup - buy high sell low that is this market - but hell if you have the millions why not

Out of curiosity why would such a low mile original car not have the snorkel type headlamp washers. I thought all 78-79 Turbos had that style?

Around VIN 800 they switched to 1980 style.

The original idea was to sell about 800 1979 US spec cars but once it was announced that the 930 would not be sold in US in 1980 the production year was extended and some of the 1980 ROW parts found there way onto 1979 US models. This car also has correct 85 MPH speedo which you don't see very often.
