Trying to determine the build date or month of 1972E #0439

Can anyone help me determine the build date or month of my 1972E #9112210439. Several years ago I saw another car that was very close to my VIN which I think was April of 72 build?
    Thanks

It must have been earlier than April 72, I just found the maintenance record book and the cars first service with 21 miles was preformed 4/14/72

I would go on the 911E registry and compare info.

I have 9112210561 as March, so would guess February or March as most likely.

    Thanks for the reference number.

The 911E site does not seem to be functional at this time.

My January 1972 car (9112300518) does not have the labels for the light switch, etc on the dash . The labels were added sometime in Mid production of the 1972 models. If yours has the labels then it is after January.

I'm unsure where the discrepancy is occurring. I also have a January '72 car and my car has the labels on the dash. I think we covered this in another thread somewhere and the labels did change around that time but I thought it was just the design of the labels.

Yes mine has the labels. I would think it was mid year being #439 of 861 911E Targas for 1972. Does the new MY production start in Sept or Aug?
