Fan Shroud - Series 900 Reproduction

Unused Series 900 RED Fan Shroud with unattached deflector. This is a copy of a 1969 S shroud made by Damon. It can be used for carbs or modified for injection pump. The use of ceramic burr (dremel) or like instrument should be used instead of a steel bit for best results (hat-tip to 304065).

$495.00 paypal only, not including shipping.

Nice shroud and good luck with sale-- one thing I would add to your ad copy is that any holes in the shroud should not be drilled, they should be ground in with a ceramic burr. I just fitted mine up with Damon's assistance (well, he did all the work and I was in charge of Spaten Optimator) and we used a dremel tool with a conical ceramic grinding burr to make the holes for the air duct. Evidently if you use a conventional drill the shroud (or any shroud, including Factory originals) will "Crack on the second flute" according to Damon.

Thanks for posting this info. Good to know.

I was chatting with Damon at Hershey this year at his "windmill of shrouds display" and his pieces are just amazing and cover every year / make combo.

    To the OP, GLWS.

What's the difference between this and a 68S shroud?

    Thanks,

The differences I know of would be small cut out around each (6) manifold/head area for the injectors and a few large holes (3?) for the pump bracket. Others would know more than I would but this shroud has indications in the gel where each hole should be.
