    FS: Porsche 356C/SC breather oil filler

    This breather box is in really good condition. Sure it could use some fresh paint if it's going on a restored motor but it is dent free and rust free. I was going to use it on a Vw project of mine but adapting to it is proving harder that originally anticipated so I'm going with a Gene Berg unit instead (he modeled his unit off the Porsche breather).

    I think it may be missing a brass strainer but I'm not aware of anything else.

    Asking $195 shipped anywhere

    That is a 356C/SC can. Not to be confused with a 912 can. 912 cans are a dime a dozen but 356 ones are fairly rare. GLWS

    Thanks Jim, I knew it came off a 64 356 but didn't know they weren't on 912s. Now that you mention it though, I remember 912s have that hooked nipple coming out.
