CV boot clamp recommendations - ones in kits don't fit.

Anyone bought clamps for their CV boots recently? And what was the verdict. I've tried the 911.332.257.00 and then 999.512.486.00 from SMC. Neither enabled me to clamp the boot securely - both too large and no coarse adjustment. Are the ones from Porsche different? Or are the likes of SMC and Pelican packaging the same parts with different part numbers? Appreciate advice as the local auto store clamps don't look as good as the OEM ones.

    TIA,
    Gary

Yes. The ones I got from Pelican did not fit. I got a set of factory Porsche clamps from Mayo's and they were perfect.

Thanks, Mike. Looks like I'll be trying the OPC.
