    Transaxle 902/06

I can not find any specs in the little Porsche tech books on 902/06 transaxle, number 5195140.
    Thank you, Steve

Peter's information is correct, except that it's an early 69 model transmission with an aluminum housing.
It's one of only 209 produced before the switch to pressure cast magnesium housings (Druckguß-Gehäuse) in November 68.

I had read on a site on Porsche transaxles that this may have a 904 main shaft and it does have 108mm flanges. Also that these were sought after for race cars but was difficult to find. Thinking of selling, idea of value?

Steve, these did not come from Porsche with 904 mainshafts. Yes, it should have 108mm axle flanges.
The 6/29 ring & pinion isn't desirable for 6-cylinder cars or for racing, and it should have a standard, open diff, so there's no special racing value in it.
It would be most valuable to someone with an early 69 912 needing an original transmission.

    ...or upgrading their 69 912 from a 4-speed to a 5-speed transmission.

Here are the gear and mainshaft numbers for a 902/06 transmission.
The "Driving shaft and gear II 2nd speed" are standard 911 parts, not 904.
