Kraftfahr Bundesamt 17.08.1967 trailer weight info

as you might remember i found the very rare Oris trailer hook for the 65 cars and mounted it accordingly.
the problems occured with the german Tuev, as the load weight is not in the official papers of Porsche and Porsche Classic denied having any infos about the weight load in their archive.

Nevertheless the boss of Tuev Augsburg was doing a research in their archive and found the note from the Kraftfahrt Bundesamt from 1967 stating that the official accepted weight load for trailers is 600kg with brakes and 480kg without brakes.

Issue cleared and official registered and info to be shared.

    with best regards

That's the thing about bureaucrats around the world. . . the only thing that works on them is . . . another bureaucrat.

They should have approved your hitch merely for the heroic act of finding such a paperwork in the first place. Talk about a needle in a haystack.
