Cruisin’ Grand in Downtown Escondido is in its 16th year of Friday night cruises in downtown Escondido, from the first Friday night in April to the last Friday night in September.
Generally, Cruisin’ Grand is only open to all pre-1974 American Classic Cars and Hot Rods.

But August 12th is a special pre-1974 German Marques night.

The entire portion of South Broadway between Grand Avenue and Second Street will be closed off and reserved for pre-1974 German Marque displays.
This closed off city block of South Broadway can easily accommodate in excess of 75-80 cars.
The street closure is from 4pm and continues to 9pm.

    All Porsche 356’s, early 911’s, long-nose 912’s, pre-‘74 914’s are welcome!
    They’ll also welcome 550’s, 904’s, 906’s, 907’s, 908’s, 917’s and any other pre’74 competition models too!

Downtown has plenty of casual and upscale dining establishments within easy walking distance.
Also, there are three ‘50s –‘60s music bands and a DJ performing along Grand Avenue.

A good turnout will allow this British/German themed night to become an annual night at Cruisin’ Grand.
