    FS: @Maxted-Page --- '69 'S' Coupe . . .

    VIN = 119300783
    Eng# = 6391117
    Trans# = 7194472

    '. . . A fully-restored, matching-numbers example of the 1969 Porsche 2.0 911S Coupe.

    The 1969 Model-year B-series 911S was the final year of 2.0 litre engine capacity and saw the introduction of both mechanical Bosch fuel injection with an output of 170bhp at 6,800rpm, and an extended wheelbase of 57mm, increasing the overall chassis length slightly from 2211mm to 2268mm to improve both performance and handling. The wings were also slightly flared to accommodate the new, deep 6” Fuchs alloy wheels and many interior details were also improved.

    Delivered new to the USA in 1969, this car was originally ordered in Light Ivory paintwork – 6804 - with Black basket-weave leatherette interior trim with no further optional equipment recorded.

    The car comes complete with extensive service records and bills dating back to 1972. Notably, between 2010-2012, the car was the subject of a bare-metal restoration and comprehensive mechanical overhaul in California, all completed to a very high standard at substantial cost by respected Porsche specialists.

    The interior has been finished to Sports Purpose specification and is fitted with a pair of lovely, period Recaro bucket seats with Repa harnesses, a 380mm steering wheel, lightweight door trims, rear roll-hoop and a Perlon lightweight carpet set. The car also features correct H1 headlights with through-the-grill fog lights, a correct and complete tool-kit and jack, Michelin XWX tyres with space-saver spare and compressed-air bottle

    Imported to the UK and registered here during 2013, when we supplied it to the last owner, the car has recently been extensively serviced here in our own workshop and we delighted to be able to offer for sale once again, this beautifully preserved example . . .
