FS: @eBay - 1968 Porsche 911

Here we have a 1968 Porsche 911, chassis #11835576 in rare Tangerine, paint code 6809. The car includes engine # 3380212. Car was optioned with a rare auxiliary fresh air blower, which is still present, even the elusive propellor knob! Only driven until 1974, this project car is a tale of victories and defeats. On the positive side, the dash and many interior components are in unheard of condition for a car of this vintage. Ignition key and glove box key are still with the car. Please see the photos to get an idea of what I mean. On the negative side, this car suffered from being parked for many years in the Chicago area, and the rust worms have been munching. The worst of it is in the rocker areas, the passenger fender, and the battery box where somebody began some metal repair but didn't get far. The floors are surprisingly solid in contrast, with comparatively little rust, even in the lower torsion area and below the pedals. Consider the engine a starting point as we don't know its internal condition or completeness. This is the last year of the SWB cars and was delivered from the factory in a rare, striking, and now very collectible color.
