FS: 1970 911E coupe (number matching - non sunroof)

    1970 911E non-sunroof coupe.
Now out of a extended inside storage and running again. Not road licensed since 2000.

It has the running number matching 2.2L still in it (partial rebuild 2k ago), now fitted with a set of 46 IDA Webers but all the stock MFI hardware is included in a box. It has front and rear sway bars and iron brake calipers. The body is repainted black (1414 Signal Orange was original code) with a black interior (but wrong front seats). The body is straight with limited rust in the floor pan just along the RH rocker panel (rocker itself looks solid), and some rust at the back of the passenger RH rocker where it connects with the RH rear rail kick up before the tire. No rust out under the pedals, no rust around the rear torsion tubes, solid front trunk pan and front crossmember, plus the doors and cowl top also look look good. Unfortunately, all 4 wheel openings have been cut and it has fiberglass 930 flares (RF flare is cracked loose from the fender) with fiberglass IROC front and RSR rear bumpers and repo 930 deck lid . It still has the steel long hood and front turn signals in the modified 1970 fenders, so the stock front hood latch panel is intact.

Fitted with 17" 930 spec Speedline wheels. Original date matched 15x6 Fuchs wheel set and the stock Blaupunkt radio are included.

Runs very strong. Let me know if you are interested, I can email more photos. Located in SE Michigan. SOLD.

Are you implying something about the buyer, or the seller?

I think our historian was merely commenting about how fast the car sold. As in "swooped in". You'd have to be here for awhile to his "flavor"
