    LWB Door handle question for the experts

    1. I found an "R" and a "L" on the door handle lock trips....Is "R" = drivers side and "L" = passengers side?
    2. Can you install the door handle lock trip on either handle...said differently are the door handles interchangeable with the only side specific piece being the lock trip
    3. I am installing new locksets on some newer door handles

    I know these might seem like stupid questions with a ...why didn't you look when you pulled them off the car...answer...too many years since I pulled off...and I have a box full of door handles and trying to pick the best two for my car...and wasn't sure if they were side sensitive

    Thx in advance

    I will reply to my own post.

    Left and right are as you sit in the car

    Left = Drivers side
    Right = Passengers side

    I think other than the lock trip, the door handles are interchangeable

    #`1. You already answered it yourself.
    # 2. Yes, you can swap the handles from right to left by just keeping the lock "trips" on the proper side. The "trips" are the only part that is different
    # 3. Doesn't need an answer
