HELP!!! Does anyone have detailed photos of a correct '68 Targa pedal floorboad?

I am restoring a '68 targa which was sent to me with coupe floor boards. I bought a new targa pedal board from stoddard and I am transferring the hardware to the new board. I need some correct detail on the hardware:

First, there are holes near the gas pedal lever suggesting some sort of steel reinforcing plate. Does someone have a photo of that plate area, correct and original?

Second, can someone provide photos of the bottom area with the reinforcing plate that mounts to the floor pan, correct and original? (Is there a cupped washer involved somehow in that mounting assembly?)

As always, I very much appreciate the collective wisdom of the group. Thanks, in advance.

If you mean the four holes under the gas pedal, those are for the attachment of the pedal stop, very important to keep from over stressing the throttle linkage and breaking things.

Here is the throttle pedal stop. Adjustable to achieve full throttle without going beyond and stressing the linkage. Clutch pedal also has an adjustable stop for the same reason. These stops prevent broken linkage parts.

now i understand it more completely. thank you very much.

i was wondering how the stop was fastened to the board. now i can see it is rivets.

i was surprised to see the plastic bolt. the Parts Manual just says 'hex'. i assume the plastic came later?

The plastic bolt is original and correct. The friction of the plastic keeps the bolt from turning after its set.
