    67S Glove Box Key?

Hey S registry experts - what key is supposed to turn the lock for the glovebox. The ignition key or its own one?

    Thanks.

The glove box has it's own key. I would hardly call myself an expert, though.

I thought it might. Can I get it rekeyed or do I need another cylinder?

You should be able to get it re- keyed. Taylor USA lists the key blank as W77D. Try calling DE Lock and Key in Atascadero, Ca. DElockandkey.com 805-466-5397. David Edwards is a genius with Porsche Locks but is not very well known in the Porsche community. He should be, though.

    Regards

Key chart for 911 and 912 models through 1969.
The first ignition key shown is for a lockable steering column.
