    Early 7 x 15 fuch wheel finish.?

Does anyone on the board have a close up of the correct finish to the rim of an early, 71/72 fuch 7 x 15 wheel. I am in the process of restoring my two wheels for the front of my ST build.
I understand that the base of the wheel, and the lower side of the petal should have a rough finish that was left by the lathe machining. How far up the rim did this rough finish extend.?

Any help or pictures of an original close up would be greatly appreciated.

    Dave,

I have some amateur hires pics of a pair that I used to own. No close-up shots I'm afraid, but maybe you can zoom in and get a closer look. Email on the way.

Here is a close-up of one of my 7 x 15 that I had on my 914-6. It had a rough finish from the pedals all the way up to the outside lip. The lip had a shinier finish.

No don't know came that way on my car. I can also tell you that the pedal finish matched the outside lip.

    Thumbs up

Here's my factory date stamped 3/73 flat 6 spare....
I believe the factory 7's were the same but of course a little more/wider flat finish on the off-set...

    Hope this helps,
