Thread: Bat Wing Horn Button

    Bat Wing Horn Button

Very nice restored bat wing. The original chrome ring was restored/re-chromed (cost $165) and is flawless. The leather pad has some wear on the PORSCHE crest, mainly on the PORSCHE letters, but the leather is still supple - see pics. $675 plus $15 shipping within the CONUS. $165 to re-chrome the ring. Man you got ripped off! I paid $15 locally here in Chicago and just did the one piece.

Shaun at Tru6 Restoration ("Shaun 69 E" on this site) did the restoration/re-chrome of the ring. He is well respected and does very high quality work and doesn't "rip people off". As we all know, quality work costs $.

Thanks for letting us know who charged you that kind of money. He must have sent it out, I don't think does any in house chrome plating.

Got mine done for a 12-pack of import beer in Oakland a few years back. The shop wasn't interested in small one piece jobs but the beer seemed to be the correct currency. Also, it was summer time.
