    Advice on windshield trim

I need some advice about replacement trim for the windshield (front and rear) to my 911 E coupe from 1970. I think it would be cheaper and much easier to by some new trim instead of trying to restore the old ones, but that depends on the qulity of kits available on the market. IŽve noticed that there is a lot of places to buy trim. My question is should I go for Porsche factory trim parts or should I buy some other after market stuff. I noticed that SierraMadre in their advertising implyied that the quality of the factory trim kit wasnŽt that good and that their own kit was better? What would you recomend?

I'd buy local if I were you. There is no need to shop here.

If there is a fitment problem you will really be unhappy. Considering shipping, etc. I'd use the UK or Germany.

    Nick,

just buy it from Porsche. There is nothing worse than fitting repro front and rear screen rubbers and trim. Waste of your time and money, and it will look rubbish.
