    Help me find the thread on the '69 factory lightweight 911s?

    I can't find the thread on the 69 911 lightweight models - all I recall is that they used 914 interior door handles and that they were orange...

    assistance?

    the one I'm thinking of was primarily black and white photos, with (at least one) interior shot showing the 914 door handle mounted low in the door card

    The 4th post on that thread seems to mention the interior shot I was referring to - "Those door openers are definitely from a VW. Great idea !"

    (but the photos are missing)

    The interior shot in question definitely showed the vw/914 interior door handle in use in the lower part of the door card... (so not the one posted above)

    we're hitting all over it now, but I still can't find the interior photo showing the VW inner door release... (frustrating)


    While we're on the topic; are those bumper end caps shown on the 70S with the guards deleted?:


    Anyone have a close up? If these are caps, I'm going to need to make some....
