Rusnak plate frame for 1971 911

Newbie here, first post. Working on a 1971 911 restoration and looking for a period correct Rusnak plate frame after learning from Porsche NA that is the dealership that took delivery. So a 2 part question:

    1. Anyone have a reliable source for vintage Porsche plate frames other than eBay?

    2. Does anyone know the proper original Rusnak plate frame style from 70/71? I have seen ads for both black/chrome..

    and blue chrome...

Thank you in advance and apologies for any rookie mistakes.

How did you get the dealer info out of PNA????

Was it a special request as the COAs have no mention of the delivery destination unless the format has changed...

My 70S was a life long SoCal car but, I've been unable to get further back than the PO (I suspect is the second owner).

I was surprised, as was the CSR at PNA that he had that info in the system. My only guess is that since Rusnak is still in business at the same location since '70, the info has stayed in the system. Many SoCal dealers (Chick Iverson, Vasek Polak, Ralph Cutright Santa Monica, etc.) are now gone and therefore may have been wiped form their database as no longer active. If you know for sure your car was SoCal and PNA has no info, maybe a group like PCA can help? Usually where there is a will (obsession), there is a way. Good luck!!
