Question Help: Unknown Rubber piece in the door

    Hi all,
I removed the door panel to replace my broken door stop and I 've found this rubber piece floating in the door space of my 1973 T

Has anyone ever seen this unknown (to me) rubber piece? Can anyone please post a photo of it's original position ?

    Thanks in advance!

It is simply a rubber "bumper" for the regulator when it bottoms inside the door so that it thuds rather than clanks and with time goes into the metal of the door frame bottom...rust!

When you get your regulator installed watch where it bottoms when you crank the window all the ay down inside the door and glue the rubber bumper in that position. Viola!

Crappy picture, but here is where it sits. As stated above, basically directly below the point where the cross bars of the regulator meet the door bottom.
