    FS: 69E project coupe

Helping a friend sell this '69E non sunroof. VIN 119220375 Original color code is 6809 Blutorange/Tangerine. Has butt welded rear ST flares and is done very well by a German metal craftsman. Needs complete floor and front suspension pan, door skins, latch panel... Torsion tube area appears to be very solid as well as the rear seat pans and parcel shelf area. Steel hood and front fenders. Fiberglass rear duck tail, fiberglass front and rear bumpers. Comes with non matching '69E MFI engine bump to 2.2 serial # 6290890. This engine has approximately 70K miles when last used as an interim engine for a '72. Turns over nicely by hand and was last used in 2007 and has been stored in an air conditioned garage since. Visual inspection thru the intake ports shows exceptionally clean. Still gathering parts to include in the lot as well as a 901 transmission. Comes with a pair of Recaro seats with base and sliders. 7 and 8 by 15" Fuchs. It would make a nice Hot Rod if one wishes. Located in Palm Coast, FL. just north of Daytona Beach area. Has clear title and VIN plates are on hand. I have plenty of detailed photos and will set up a photo bucket link to be attached on this post. Asking $34,900 or best offer.

Perhaps there are many more parts boxes, but even then, with the task at hand it seems more of a parts car. Even at $29K it will be hard to see an upside when properly finished given the immense amount of labor and parts. JMHO.
