    Temp Gauge Conversion

Anybody use 9X Auto for a temp gauge conversion?

North Hollywood can do it but it's just a screw in module. The trick is getting the sending unit matched up. It appears they are making these to order.

    Thanks!

No. But I may have the one you need laying around. I have a '70 engine in a '66 car. So I have the later temp gauge sending unit in a box somewhere.

What is your desire, to replace the unobtainium oil temp sender in Shorty with the modern el cheapo VDO bit? And then you have to change the temp gauge up front because the ohms range is different? Am I picking up what you're putting down?

Nope. I threw a knuckle ball. This is for a 1980 911SC from the "Vague Gauge" era. The 9X setup looks pretty straightforward and it's do it yourself.

The "Short" one has his own version of a "Vague Gauge" which is original and will stay as is even though I collected dated gauges for oil level, temp and pressure way back when.
