Which one of the 2 Targa roof do I use

I have 2 Targa roofs. One with 2 prongs on the rear of the and the other has 3 prongs on the rear.
Mine is a 72 911 but if the 3 prong roof is better, is it with modifying my roll bar which I don't have the forward piece of trim but was thinking of having made?
The spare roof I was going to make it a solid one piece item by fabricating a metal skin in place of the vinyl.

The middle "prong" is part of the pivot pin. You can remove the "prong" by removing the circlip and punching out the pin and replacing it with the one from your 72 top. You can also just cut off the "prong". the thing is made of plastic. You, certainly don't want to modify your roll bar to fit the top when the top can be modified to fit your car in 10 minutes time.
