    Britax racing harness - Black Single - nice cond.

    Very nice single Black britax 980.
    Webbing, labels, chrome, adjusters and hooks all in nice condition.

    Can't find any ink stamps on the label, but mid 70's britax started using the plastic receivers.
    The famous red belts with white red labels. So this one must be bedore that, they started in the sicties with these.

    Nice original piece Alex.

    A little history.

    This is a pre- 1972 901 International harness. Here is the cheaper simplified clubman version. Advert is dated August 71. Porsche racing division had a contract with Britax that lasted until 72. I have several original assembly drawings from Britax. Lift and adjust harnesses are 72-on.  Porsche started to use the Repa harness alongside Britax in it's cars starting in 69.
